One of the most enthusiastic and diversified Dragon Boat paddling teams in Arizona is the ARIZONA DRAGON RIDERS team. The members of the AZ DRAGON RIDERS paddle and ride their Dragon Boat across the Tempe Town Lake to promote the fun Dragon Boat sport, and good health to all men and women in the Arizona communities.
Some of us are there purely for a recreational purpose, and others are fierce competitors. Our practices are inclusive, but for Dragon Boat Race Festivals, we may compete as AZ Dragon Riders, EZ Riders and/or Diva Dragon Riders.

Riders Club Profile

Established in Spring of 2008.

Currently is the fastest growing Dragon Boat club in Arizona with over 50 members.

Holds two to three practice sessions per week at the Tempe Town Lake.

Riders's practices are generally open to paddlers of all teams & guests. Seats in the boat maybe more limited as we gear up for races.

Practice boats, PFD and paddles are supplied by the AZDBA.
